Wien ehrt Thomas Edison
Bürgermeister Jonas nahm die von der Österreichisch-Amerikanischen Gesellschaft gestiftete und am Gebäude des Parkhotels in Hietzing enthüllte Gedenktafel für Thomas Alva Edison in die Obhut der Stadt Wien. Die Tafel erinnert an den Besuch des großen amerikanischen Erfinders in Wien im September 1911. Damals wohnte Edison mit seiner Familie im Parkhotel.
