www.globalpolitician.com Thinks I Work For Free

This is how it works in freelance:
1) You have an idea for a story, which you pitch to an editor. If accepted, a fee is negotiated, contract signed (in some cases), and you move forward from there.
Or....
2) You pitch the already written article to a publication, and if accepted, the fee is negotiated, blahblahblah.

GlobalPolitician.com, however, likes to SKIP the FEE part, and just publish your stuff without paying. I guess it saves time on all that pesky bookkeeping nonsense.
Meanwhile, this free article is made available to dozens of major internet wire services, meaning it can't be sold anywhere else (Get it? It's free!!!! Yippeee!!!).

So with this new line of doing business, I'll just go to the grocery store, grab the can of soup off the shelf and skip the paying part... I mean, they made the soup available to me, right out there in plain sight, didn't they? So, that means they want me to have it, right?
